Job Overview:
The Associate IT Pillar Specialist is responsible for utilizing existing IT Pillar procedures to solve routine or standard problems. They receive instruction, guidance, and direction from others within the team, and they will leverage their conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures related to IT Pillar and Information Technology.
ResponsibilitiesKey Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Assist BIM and Digital Delivery Managers on Installation, setup and configuration of an integrated suite of engineering tools for project execution.
- Focused on project application use, implementation, and improvement. This may include tasks, such as database maintenance and monitoring, client and server application implementation of software, and automation development.
- Responsible for the creation and support of automation processes to support project initiatives.
- Test changes/fixes to server environment for release to production
- Workshare and integration setup

- Manager - Area Engineering IT
Essential Qualifications and Education:
- At least 5 years of experience of SmartPlant Foundation (SPF) Administration, including Project Information Management.
- Degree in engineering or equivalent technical diploma. Strong understanding of current engineering design, drafting applications and engineering data integration software packages.
- Thorough knowledge of the Intergraph Smart Plant architecture and analytic interpretation of data models and environments.
- Experience with Intergraph SmartPlant Enterprise work processes.
- Experience implementing and managing enterprise level engineering information technology in a client-server environment
- Working knowledge or relational database management systems (RDBMS)
- Working knowledge of programming automation using Microsoft Visual Studio
- Basic understanding of the Microsoft .NET Framework
