Job Description:
As an Associate IT Operations Engineer, you will be part of our global Operations department.
You will be working shifts with a team of IT Operations Engineers that cover our 24/7 operations. This position works with open-source technologies such as Linux, Apache, Tomcat, and Icinga, along with Windows, and some DTN proprietary software.
What you will be responsible for:
Apply professional-level technical skill and judgement to provide non-routine technical support for IT operations. Focusing on quick outage recovery and root cause analysis
Manage incidents and communicate highly technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel
Create timely and accurate event notifications and incident logs
Assist with systems administration, maintenance, and hardware and software upgrades
Add to our knowledge database, to ensure expertise sharing and learning from engineers located in various countries takes place
What you will bring to the role:
1-2 years professional experience in an international 24/7 environment
Knowledge of Windows and Linux administration (Redhat/CentOS/Debian/Fedora) for complex production environments
Technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to perform diagnostic routines to isolate and correct system-related problems
Experience with server and application monitoring tools (such as Icinga, Datadog) is a plus
Excellent troubleshooting and critical thinking capabilities
Familiarity with the ITIL service management process
Capable of creating documentations based on daily interactions with other support teams
Customer focus, always looking for ways to deliver the highest possible quality
Organized and disciplined in following procedures, with a positive attitude and willingness to support
Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written

Compensation
The targeted hiring base pay range for this position is between PHP 33,000 and PHP 45,833 monthly. DTN is a pay for performance organization, which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The actual base pay offered for this position will be dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experience, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity and applicable laws. The targeted hiring base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for market competitive variable pay and benefits.
