We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as our new IT Support Specialist. Johnson Controls is a global supplier of intelligent building and energy solutions with more than 100.000 employees worldwide – all dedicated to creating a more safe, comfortable and sustainable future.
How you will do it
Provide user support, replace computers and participate in projects with our local or global partners
Provide level 2 end-user support, as well as handle our ticket queue in collaboration with our Virtual Tech Hut support group and IT colleagues
Receive user contact by various methods – from ServiceNow live agent chat to phone calls and walk-ups.
Create and resolve incident and service requests, report errors and troubleshoot with next level IT teams or third-party partners
Solving problems in Windows and applications as well as more administrative tasks
Hands-on hardware troubleshooting
Manage End-of-Lease computers through their lifecycle
Assist vendors and be responsible for projects such as replacing computers, switches, or printers
What we look for
Required
Experience as IT Support Specialist or from a similar role for 3 years and more
Motivated by providing excellent user support and ability to communicate/collaborate with the users, team members and the wider organization from a distance
You approach your work in a structured manner enabling you to prioritize and execute your tasks
Fluency in both Spanish and English language, speaking and writing
Preferred
Experience with MS Windows, O365, Azure and Intune.
Basic knowledge of LAN / WAN, switches, printers.
A strong problem solver with a proactive mindset to follow-up on tasks, and the ability to quickly grasp new processes and systems.
Valid driver’s license.
