Associate, IT Business Analysis

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure product updates and enhancements are delivered within scheduled commitments
• Ensure product dependencies are managed, prioritized, and effectively communicated
• Establish and maintain relationship with software vendors to facilitate timely resolution of issues
• Establish and maintain strategic relationships with key partners across businesses and technology to align implementation and operational communications
• Working with application and database developers
• Tracks and maintains enhancements and feature requests
• Facilitates external status calls with software vendors and be an advocate for internal business teams  
• Prioritize ongoing workload and requests to ensure critical business needs are met
• Interface with multiple systems to manage daily deliverables and task execution
• Acts as SME for any questions or issues regarding supported platforms
• Acts as primary support agent for internal teams and lines-of-businesses

Contacts

This position has frequent contact with all levels of employees and management. In addition, this role may interact with outside business partners, vendors, consultants, and other office visitors.

Required

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with a concentration in Finance, Management or Business preferred
• Experience and knowledge of database management and data mapping
• Strong SQL knowledge and advanced querying skills
• Ability to grasp financial concepts quickly
• Ability to deliver tasks under abbreviated timelines
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial software and industry is preferred.
• Good relationship management skills
• Strong and demonstrated ability to build lasting relationships with key stakeholders
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize competing work items
• Ability to gather and document requirements by end user and translate to effective written ADO Stories
• Ability to manage and implement product releases and conduct thorough validation testing 
• Proficient IT skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ADO, Smart Sheet, Service Now, etc.
• Ability to facilitate conflicting views and negotiate agreeable resolutions in regard to enhancements and feature requests
• Experience of AGILE Methodologies

• Maintain effective relationship with third party vendors
• Focus on internal customer relationships and delivering exceptional service and support
• Proactive in troubleshooting and resolving platform issues and defects
• Experience within financial industry
• Experience work with a master data management solution and data lakes
• Ability to challenge the status quo and provide alternative solutions and ideas
• Ability to facilitate collaboration across teams when providing business solutions
