Why This Role Is Valuable
This position will support the leadership in the placement and management of various insurance policies including General Liability, Auto Liability, Workers Compensation, Umbrella/Excess Liability, D&O, E&O, Crime, Cyber, and other ancillary liability lines.
Responsibilities will include supporting the collection, preparation, and presentation of renewal submissions to the market, acting as a primary point of contact for portfolio company coverage queries and midterm documentation requests, collaborating with Center of Excellence (COE) support staff to execute deliverables in a timely manner, and creating deliverables for internal and external stakeholders. This role will be expected to forge substantive relationships throughout Revantage, Blackstone, and other portfolio companies, as well as with various external stakeholder groups including Brokers. It will be essential for the person in this role to possess excellent business judgment and an ability to identify and communicate risk in a clear and concise manner, as well as an aptitude for proposing creative solutions. A successful candidate will be responsive to meeting quick deadlines and juggling multiple priorities.
This position is based out of Revantage's office in Dallas, TX.
How You Add Value

  • Assist the Risk Management Liability Team in strategizing and executing program objectives, having opportunity to lead and take ownership of select placements.
  • Deliver high quality and clear risk management guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage broker relationships to develop processes allowing for prompt turnaround of deliverables.
  • Assist with the collection and review of necessary exposure information for insurance placements, renewals, forecasts, and allocation purposes.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of current industry risk and trends as well as clear understanding of Portfolio Companies and Blackstone business and technical strategies.
  • Utilize the Risk Management Information System (RMIS) to manage exposures and policies.
  • Identify, communicate, and champion process improvement opportunities.
  • Assist in developing business deliverables for various key stakeholders
  • Manage insurance policies and forms.
  • Provide learning opportunities to Center of Excellence (COE) support staff.
  • Travel as needed to support business needs.


WHAT YOU BRING TO THIS ROLE
Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline from an accredited college.
  • Minimum of 4 years of liability insurance experience.
  • Strong quantitative skills.
  • First-class interpersonal skills, including relationship building & maintenance.
  • Excellent communication (verbal & written), numerical, presentation & organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork.
  • Effective reasoning and decision-making.
  • Strong negotiation and investigation skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and follow up in a timely manner.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where superior time-management and prioritization skills are essential.
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office systems, particularly Excel.
