Required Qualifications

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $69,600 to $87,000 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.

What will you be doing?
As an Associate Infrastructure Engineer – Cloud, you’ll begin your cloud career at the center of
WWT’s multi-cloud journey, in a role that blends two of the things we value most: strong
partnership and hands-on engineering.
Your first focus is partnership. Working alongside senior and mid-level engineers, you’ll build
relationships across the organization with our IAM, Network, Information Security, Platform and
End User Services, and Observability teams, and help application and business units onboard
to the cloud, adopt approved standards, and gain clear visibility into their cloud cost and usage.
Your second focus is building. You’ll help extend WWT’s core infrastructure services (compute,
virtual machines, storage, virtualization, operating systems, and Kubernetes) into the cloud,
supporting the design, automation, and operation of these services across Microsoft Azure,
Google Cloud Platform, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. With guidance from senior engineers,
you’ll learn to take part in an on-call rotation and contribute to the reliability, security, and cost-
efficiency of our environments.

career engineer with strong communication skills who is eager to build their cloud and
infrastructure expertise while helping teams across the business succeed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Help application and business teams onboard to the cloud, assisting them with
provisioning, approved standards, and self-service patterns under guidance. - Help maintain the cloud platform internal teams rely on, including standardized landing
zones, tagging, and configuration baselines. - Build relationships across teams such as Network, IAM, Information Security, and
Observability, along with other engineering and business-unit teams, and help coordinate
the right controls, services, and support for each workload. - Help give teams visibility into their cloud cost and usage patterns, maintaining dashboards
and reports and flagging optimization and right-sizing opportunities to senior engineers. - Assist with building and operating core cloud infrastructure (compute, virtual machines,
storage, virtualization, and Linux/Windows operating systems) across Azure, GCP, and - Make guided contributions to Infrastructure as Code and automation (Terraform,
Ansible/AWX, PowerShell, Python, Git, and CI/CD), running existing pipelines and
committing changes under code review. - Work with the IAM and Information Security teams to help apply identity, access, and
security controls, and with the Observability team to help configure monitoring, logging, and - Support reliability through routine preventative maintenance, patching, and monitoring;
assist with change tickets, validation, and tested rollback; and take part in an on-call
rotation as you build readiness. - Help produce technical documentation, runbooks, and onboarding guides, communicating
clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
