The Associate, Information Technology (System Administrator) is primarily responsible for providing effective front-line services with applications access and first level trouble shooting. Position will be working hybrid based in San Juan, PR.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Re-sets application passwords.
- Assists the bank employees with desktop issues.
- Perform basic troubleshooting to identify possible issues.
- Basic equipment and installation of application.
- Identifies user’s hardware & software needs, provides immediate assistance, or refers needs to the proper division.
- Identify areas in need of improvement according to the incoming calls and provide possible solutions.
- Work with the access request (OSR) assigned by management, while being monitored under strict supervision.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related required. Other special educational courses may be considered.
- Two (2) years of experience as a System Administrator required. Banking experience preferred.
- Minimum education and experience required can be substituted with the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities.
- Knowledge of end-user access security administration, Microsoft Windows-based end-user computing environments and Linux required.
- Ability to work flexible schedules and for support when needed.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish & English required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, multitasking, teamwork, and ability to work effectively with clients is required.
