Position Summary
1. Establish EHS strategies and goals to prioritize environmental protection and the safety of employees and customers.
2. Establish accident prevention process and strengthen safety management to create safe work environment for all employees.
3. Remove risk of regulation violation by observing domestic/overseas EHS regulations and monitoring regulation and revision status of the regulations.
Role and Responsibilities
1. [EHS planning] Assist to establish EHS strategies/goals, plan and conduct meetings, identify EHS issue, and manage EHS records.
2. [EHS system management] Assist to prevent EHS risks through the establishment/operation of EHS system and the continuous monitoring.
3. [EHS training] Support to establish training plans for each field and provide theoretical/experience training to improve capability of EHS managers.
4. [EHS audit] Support to check and improve compliance of affiliates, subsidiaries, contractors with EHS regulations by conducting a regular audit.
Skills and Qualifications
• A skilled or highly-skilled specialist that completes tasks in resourceful and effective ways
• May contribute to the development of concepts and techniques as well as complete complex tasks in creative and effective ways
• Works on assignments, including complex assignments, requiring considerable judgement and initiative
• May determine methods and procedures on new assignments
• May mentor or coach team members
• Typically requires a minimum 5 years of experience since TB1
