We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Marsh as a Associate II - Broking out of our New York office. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office. The successful candidate will lead daily operations from a support and administrative level, coordinating complex logistics and task assignments for client relationship projects while ensuring effective communication and problem resolution.

We will count on you to:

  • Review risk analyses from junior Brokers and develop innovative solutions for client needs and complex risk situations.
  • Advise clients on moderately complex risks and negotiate transactions to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Oversee the timely production of account/program documents and follow up on policy documentation.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with insurers/reinsurers, clients, and colleagues to provide complex solutions.
  • Identify and pursue potential opportunities to win new clients and projects.

What you need to have:

  • Proven experience in risk management and brokerage, with a strong understanding of coverage lines and markets.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills to effectively resolve client queries and concerns.
  • Ability to independently handle assignments and support senior-level Brokers with larger clients.
  • Strong analytical skills to review financial statements and understand industry-specific metrics.

Marsh McLennan is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $83,200 to $177,100.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
