What your current role should be like?

  • 5+ years of experience in managing escrow and settlement operations within financial services or technology companies.
  • Expertise in implementing and optimizing processes for dispute resolution, financial settlements, and reconciliations.
  • Skilled in working with data-driven decision-making, using tools like MS Excel, ERP, or CRM systems to enhance operational efficiencies.
  • Proven track record of handling stakeholder management and resolving conflicts efficiently.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, early-to-growth stage startup environment, with a focus on scalability and innovation.

What will you do?

  • Execute back-end Dispute Handling/Management/Resolution operations.
  • Cross-check existing data and pre-match with bank and internal reporting.
  • Manage complaints and disputes coming through various channels (automated, letters, emails, etc.) and close the issues accurately in a timely manner.
  • Analyze incoming queries/complaints/disputes to identify patterns to define action-ables.
  • Ensure all documentation and records are created and maintained for all interactions.
  • Play an integral role in showcasing Indepay as a consumer-friendly organization and best service provider.
  • Provide insight to management on the offerings through publishing dashboard of the queries and issues periodically.
  • Perform independent controls on regulatory reports, Additional controls.
  • Manage a variety of stakeholders, resolve conflicts, record and monitor inventory and other data artifacts, and handle day-to-day paperwork, digitization/scanning, invoicing and processing, and cash handling/management.
  • Expertise in performing processes, Basic excel skills.

Requirements

What do you have?

  • 5+ years of experience in handling settlement or escrow accounts in payment and/or technology companies. 
  • The candidate must have excellent expertise in MS Office suite of products including MS Word, MS-Excel, MS PPT, ERP/CRM portals, and must have an analytical and data-driven approach in day-to-day work with the ability to develop clear & concise documentation.
  • Manage and handle settlement/escrow accounts in payment and/or technology companies.
  • Must be comfortable working in an early stage to growth stage company and should be able to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Have a proven track record of success in previous roles and have worked in a similar setting, such as a Pre series A-B company will be a plus.
  • A leader who takes fun in taking risks and understands that taking calculated risks is necessary for growth. They should have the ability to balance risk-taking with sound decision-making to build something innovative and groundbreaking.
  • Record and monitor inventory and other data artifacts.
  • Handle day-to-day paperwork, digitization/scanning, invoicing and processing, and cash handling/management.
  • Manage a variety of stakeholders and resolve conflicts.
  • Deliver on commitments without fail.
  • Develop clear & concise documentation with an analytical and data-driven approach.
  • Multi-task and prioritize work effectively.
