Key Responsibilities
1. Trade Execution Support
- Execute client orders accurately and efficiently under the guidance of senior dealers.
- Monitor order flow and manage less complex trades, including program trades, VWAP orders, and Direct Market Access (DMA) transactions.
- Assist in the preparation, maintenance, and reconciliation of trade blotters and execution reports.
2. Market Monitoring
- Monitor real-time market movements, stock prices, and trading volumes to identify trading and execution opportunities.
- Provide timely market updates and insights to senior traders, sales teams, and relevant stakeholders.
3. Client Order Management
- Ensure prompt and accurate communication with clients regarding order status, trade confirmations, and market developments.
- Respond to client inquiries related to trade execution and escalate complex issues to senior dealers when required.
4. Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure all trading activities comply with regulatory requirements, exchange rules, and internal policies.
- Monitor trading activities against established risk parameters and promptly report any discrepancies or unusual trading patterns.
5. Operational Support
- Assist in trade reconciliation and collaborate with middle and back-office teams to resolve settlement-related issues.
- Maintain accurate trading records, reports, and compliance documentation to support operational efficiency.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in institutional dealing, equity trading or capital markets.
- Basic knowledge of equity markets, market microstructure, trading strategies, and financial instruments.
- Familiarity with trading platforms and market information systems such as Bloomberg, Fidessa, or equivalent OMS/EMS platforms.
Skills Required
