Job Description
All about the role:
Electrolux is looking for a talented Associate Graphic Designer with a great eye, strong attention to detail, and an interest in the consumer experience. In this role you will be reporting to the Electrolux & Frigidaire U.S. Creative Lead and will be based in Charlotte, NC.
What you’ll do:
The Associate Graphic Designer will focus on a variety of visually compelling deliverables. You will execute designs representing the Frigidaire and Electrolux brands, following the brand guidelines and standards to the highest degree. You’ll also support the creative team in executing branded content across various digital and print mediums.
Other responsibilities may include:
- Ensure all deliverables are designed in accordance with our global brand guidelines
- Collaborate with key stakeholders in product and retailer marketing, consumer journey, and other departments
- Execute digital banners in multiple sizes, across multiple product categories and seasonal promotions
- Design and version out packaging designs across multiple SKU’s
- Communicate project progress and potential challenges to the Lead Designer on a timely basis
- Simultaneously work on multiple projects with various time-sensitive deadlines
Who you are:
You have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work which demonstrates your passion for design and typography. You are both reactive and proactive, you work efficiently and flexibly to deliver results. You can think in a creative and strategic way and are adept at delivering operationally to ensure tasks are followed through to completion. You have strong communication skills with a focus on collaborative and efficient problem-solving. Your enthusiasm is infectious and inspires and engages your colleagues and collaborators to achieve, deliver, and be accountable for their work. You’ll also have the stamina essential to delivering results in both the short and long term.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design or related area
- 1+ year of professional experience in consumer-driven companies or agencies
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of digital and print design best practices
- Must be proficient with Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Figma and Microsoft office tools
