What you will do
- Provide creative and practical legal advice and decision-making skills in compliance with applicable laws.
- Collaborate with risk management and oversee litigation activities conducted by outside counsel, including developing strategy for complex cases.
- Support human resources related to federal and state employment law, internal investigations, and policies.
- Coordinate and draft responses to administrative regulatory requests, to include the EEOC and Virginia Department of Health.
- Responsible for initiating, reviewing, interpreting, and negotiating various contracts, while focusing on efficiency, accuracy and satisfying deadlines.
- Educate stakeholders on relevant legal issues, including patient care and hospital and provider legal matters.

- Doctoral Degree, (Juris Doctor) from accredited law school (Required)
Experience
- 2 years Practicing attorney experience. Knowledge of healthcare law, litigation, contracts, labor and employment, and corporate transactions. (Required)
Skills and Abilities
- Member in good standing of the Virginia State Bar or eligibility for admission required.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Consistently exhibit a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, sound judgment, and maintain strict confidentiality.
- Highly effective drafting, negotiation, and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Excellent collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work independently, while managing competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Skills Required
