Position Summary
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in creating 2D illustrations, including characters, environments, and in-game assets, maintaining high artistic quality.
Support the team in developing engaging 2D animations for game elements, enhancing player experience.
Learn and work with Spine 2D to create and refine character and object animations.
Collaborate with senior artists and developers to understand game art requirements and deliver assets accordingly.
Adapt to various artistic styles and ensure consistency across projects.
Optimize assets for performance and seamless integration into the game pipeline.
Stay open to feedback and continuously improve by learning new tools, techniques, and industry best practices.
Communicate effectively with team members and contribute innovative ideas to enhance the visual appeal of the games.
Requirements:
Strong drawing and illustration skills, with an understanding of composition, colour, and character design.
Basic knowledge of 2D animation principles and a keen interest in developing animation skills.
Familiarity with Spine 2D or a willingness to learn it quickly.
Technically inclined, with the ability to adapt to new tools and software efficiently.
A strong personal portfolio showcasing digital illustrations, character designs, background art, and animations.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Enthusiastic, eager to learn, and open to feedback and guidance.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Basic understanding of game development pipelines and asset optimization.
Familiarity with Photoshop, Illustrator, or other digital painting software.
Exposure to UI/UX design for games is a plus.
3D application knowledge i.e. Blender 3D, Maya , 3DS Max etc.
