We are looking for adaptable, collaborative, college students who are eager to start their careers in the consulting arena. As an Associate Functional Consultant Intern, you will work on project teams to help Workday customers implement our growing catalog of global, cloud-based applications. In this role you will ensure the successful implementation of the Workday solutions with customers through product and implementation expertise. Learn how to apply Workday’s proven implementation methodology and technology to customers of different sizes and industries like financial services, healthcare, technology, and others.
As an Intern, you will complete the instructor lead Workday Pro HCM Core Services Certification or equivalent and undertake further Specialist Certification training. Once certified, you’ll supplement your initial product findings through active project engagement.
Responsibilities:
Perform the following on a client engagement: understand client business requirements, configure the Workday solution, demonstrate the configurations through the building of prototype configuration, assist the client in testing the Workday solution.
Work with the client to help convert legacy data into Workday.
Assist the Integration Consulting team in helping to configure and test integrations between Workday and 3rd party/custom solutions.
Understand Workday’s Implementation Methodology and use it on all client engagements.
Ensure the client takes advantage of Workday's proven solutions, including AI use cases.
Help deliver successful project outcomes and lasting client relationships.

About You
Basic Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or related field, with an anticipated graduation date of June/July 2026
Must be able to commit to the full duration of the 23 week internship (Start Date: Feb 9, 2026) in Heredia, Costa Rica
Bilingual in Spanish and English
Interest in functional experience in Human Capital Management or Payroll software solutions or systems.
Other Qualifications
Previous consulting experience either as a consultant with a professional services company or as an internal consultant.
Experience implementing or working with Workday, SAP, Oracle, Taleo, PeopleSoft, ADP, UKG or similar applications preferred.
Passion for customer service.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities.
Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training.
Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
