The Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis will play a key collaborative role within the FP&A team, focused on understanding, refining, and automating essential processes that track and manage the firm’s financials. This position will seek to integrate innovative technological solutions to streamline workflows, reduce manual labor, and improve the accuracy and effectiveness of operations within both the FP&A team and the firm at-large. The ideal candidate will bring financial knowledge alongside strong Excel capabilities to develop and implement solutions for budgeting, reporting, and data analysis. Familiarity with Python or other basic coding software is preferred, although deep expertise is not necessary; the right candidate should feel comfortable using it as part of their toolkit.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with FP&A teams to map and enhance existing financial planning, budgeting, and forecast processes related to budgeting and reporting of property- and portfolio-level net operating income

  • Create automated solutions leveraging advanced Excel logic (and ideally Python) to streamline existing monthly reporting processes.

  • Assist in enhancing budgeting tools across the firm by implementing creative technological solutions that simplify, optimize, and automate these processes.

  • Serve as a liaison between FP&A and other core divisions to help in the adaptation and training of new tools across departments

  • Providing support as needed for the Operating Expenses, Capital Expenses, Leasing, and Cash Flows teams.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in a finance, analytical, or technical role, preferably in the real estate or financial services industry

  • Strong analytical skills with a solid grasp of financial concepts pertinent to FP&A operations.

  • A strong work ethic, with an ability to work in a dynamic and demanding work environment to meet critical deadlines.

  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to work effectively across multiple teams and company leadership.

  • Proficient in Excel (familiarity with VBA is beneficial but not required).

  • Foundational to advanced knowledge of Python (or other basic coding software like R) to support the advancement towards reporting/budgeting automating and data analysis tasks.

  • A strong work ethic, with an ability to work in a dynamic and demanding work environment to meet critical deadlines.

  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to work effectively across multiple teams and company leadership.

  • Experience with data visualization platforms (e.g, PowerBI) is a plus but not required.

$90,000 - $100,000 represents the presently anticipated base compensation pay range for this position at Link.  Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
