Overview

We are currently looking for highly motivated individuals to join the FP&A team in the position of Financial Analyst.  This position is a key part of FP&A in support of business operations.  The FP&A team provides supporting analysis required for the Close to Report process while directly interacting with a business organization/business leader (Examples:  R&D, PLM, Sales, Services, etc.)  Includes preparing the budgets, forecasts and financial reporting and analysis of the revenues, margins & spending for these organizations.   This individual will monitor performance to provide the analytics required to ensure plan commitments are met and advise management on any actions needed to address identified risks and opportunities to their business plans. 

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on expense management, productivity, budgeting, forecasting through financial analysis and ensuring creation of timely reports

• Support the close process and review accruals and financial postings for completeness and comparison to forecast

• Analyze data to understand trends and identify any reporting gaps by understanding financial consolidation, product hierarchy and any subscription cloud supporting systems relevant to role   

• Directly accesses SAP, Planful (forecasting) and other systems input and extract data to analyze information in support of the business

• Monthly close and results reporting (with a focused review of performance versus Plan and prior periods).  This includes analyzing data and determining best presentation format to drive message

• Assist with preparation of Monthly & Quarterly Business Review Presentations to the Executive leaders.

• Ad hoc analysis and reports, as required per business needs

• Works special projects for continuous automation and efficiencies within financial tasks performed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration or Accounting; Certifications a plus

• 2+ years of experience in Finance/Accounting work experience

• Excellent to Expert in Excel and PowerPoint; Some experience building and managing complex financial models a plus

• Strong work ethic – self-starter, motived, eager to learn

• Ability to resolve issues and adapt to change

• Demonstrated creative and critical thinking skills

• Ability to work with large and disparate data sets from multiple sources/systems

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently under some guidance
