LastPass is looking for Associate Financial Analyst
As an Associate Financial Analyst to partner with our Human Resources and Legal teams. In this role, you will guide operational planning, manage forecasts, and approve expenditures. Your expertise will also be crucial in analyzing personnel and operating costs to optimize financial performance. You will create influential reports and dashboards for senior leadership, helping them understand opportunities and risks to make strategic decisions. Additionally, you'll contribute to ad-hoc strategic projects, impacting LastPass’s growth and success directly.
About the team:
The LastPass FP&A organization is a team of high performers and trusted partners who leverage data to deliver strategic insights and empower decision making, solve problems, and mitigate risks. You will play a meaningful role in the global forecasting and planning process. Your FP&A teammates produce timely, accurate reporting and customized financial analysis to support management decisions.

Who will you work with?
Will work primarily with your organization partners (HR and Legal) and the Finance team which includes business partners to other departments within LastPass. You will also work on ad-hoc projects with the Business Intelligence team to drive further operational improvements.
What are some of the exciting challenges you will be working on?
- Developing a partnership with the leaders of the HR and Legal organizations
- Forecasting expense for G&A
- Margin and profitability analysis projects
- Headcount tracking for the entire organization
- Presentation materials for senior leadership team and board of directors
What does it take to work at LastPass?
- Understanding of the three financial statements and how they work together
- Superior analytical and modeling skills, including advanced proficiency in Excel
- A self-starter with exceptional attention to details, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills
It's great, but not required:
- Experience in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Experience presenting to data findings to executives
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $60,000 in the lowest geographic market and up to $70,000 per year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
