As an Associate Finance Manager, you will serve as a strategic finance partner to the Interventional Spine business, influencing decisions across R&D, Marketing, and Sales. You will translate complex financial data into clear insights that shape business performance, while strengthening financial processes across a growing, innovation‑driven portfolio.
**This position requires hybrid work onsite in Portage, MI weekly up to 3 days per week.**
What You Will Do
- Partner with functional leaders and cost center owners to support data‑driven decision making across R&D, Marketing, and Selling activities.
- Prepare, consolidate, and review monthly financial statements, including flash reporting, profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reporting.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial projections by collaborating with department managers and explaining key financial metrics, drivers, and variances.
- Execute the annual budget, periodic projections, and reporting of actual financial results for U.S. operations.
- Coordinate financial planning and reporting activities with international counterparts to ensure alignment and consistency across regions.
- Prepare financial reports, analyses, and special studies to support management decisions and business initiatives.
- Collaborate with finance shared service teams to ensure timely, accurate, and effective management reporting.
- Ensure compliance with Sarbanes‑Oxley requirements, applicable financial regulations, and company policies.
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum six years of professional experience in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA or CMA certification.
- Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and consolidations.
