Job Purpose:

The Innovation Associate Finance Manager for Ice Cream is a key partner to the Ice Cream Innovation cross-functional team. The primary role of the Innovation AFM is to provide financial support for the Innovation funnel, including project business cases and strategic planning.  The AFM will support the cross-functional team to drive value creation and inform decision making.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partner with marketing, supply chain, R&D, and CS&P to build innovation business cases estimating gross and incremental financial impact of Ice Cream projects
  • Support Ice cream out-year strategic planning
  • Monthly tracking and reporting of innovation actuals performance and funnel value roll-up vs. targets, providing actionable feedback to the cross-functional team
  • Analyze business opportunities to drive gross margin improvement across the Ice Cream portfolio
  • Liaise with global finance to further agenda and ensure global and local alignment

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Work with supply chain and supply chain finance on innovation costing and innovation waste analysis
  • Act as the finance steward to drive improvement in the innovation costing process
  • Ad hoc strategic and funnel value analysis

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree required with MBA preferred
  • Consumer products experience is an advantage but not required
  • Relevant business experience required (3 - 5 years) including experience in 1 – 3 core finance areas (Brand, Supply Chain, Customer & Channel Development, Planning & Analysis, Controllers) preferred
  • Experience communicating financial acumen effectively with all levels of the organization.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $86,080 - $129,120. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.  

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
