The Associate Finance Manager, Commercial Finance role for Beauty & Wellbeing (B&W) serves as the financial and analytical foundation for the finance and brand teams, managing innovation business cases, brand investment decisions, and enabling profitable growth through insights and partnerships. The role ensures full, E2E stewardship of BMI and Coupons investments, manages end to end P&L for our brands, supports decision making for resource allocation, and provides the BU with clear foresight on performance, risks, and opportunities, as well acts as the key finance resource partnering with our brands.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Business Partnering for our B&W Brands
• Act as the primary finance partner to Marketing and cross-functional teams, providing actionable insights, identifying risks and opportunities, and influencing decisions to optimize brand performance.
• Partner closely with Brand teams to manage the full P&L, including forecasting, performance tracking, and variance analysis to drive delivery against financial targets and long-term growth objectives.
• Translate financial results into clear, actionable insights; provide forward-looking guidance on risks/opportunities and support S&OP and forecast cycles.
2. Partner Brands on Innovation Planning
• Oversee the financial governance of the innovation pipeline, ensuring funnel sufficiency, tracking key milestones, and driving accountability for delivery against strategic targets.
• Own the development, validation, and tracking of innovation and investment business cases, ensuring robust assumptions, clear financial returns, and alignment to brand strategy.
3. Partner BU on BMI Investment Decision Making
• Act as the primary financial partner to Brand Leads and ABMs for all BMI and Coupon investment decisions. Help build supporting scenarios, ROI evaluations, and provide strategic guidance on investment choices. Provide forward looking insights into drivers of performance, risks/opportunities, and recommended interventions.
4. Partner S&OP on Coupons / BMI Forecast
• Through active partnership with S&OP this individual will manage our end-to-end Coupons and BMI forecasting process (forecast and Cashup) in PBCS across all brands.
• Partner with NA Finance to ensure Allocadia and Prism are accurate.
• Support NA Finance in system evolution and process enhancements (e.g., Prism, Allocadia), ensuring accuracy and improved efficiency across teams.
• Identify anomalies, perform variance analysis, and ensure financial and operational controls are fully met.
Key Requirements
Degree
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field
• MBA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred
Years of experience
• Minimum 3+ years of relevant finance experience
• Experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, Customer Analytics, Supply Chain Finance, or Trade Finance preferred
• Experience partnering with cross-functional business teams preferred

Pay: The pay range for this position is $88,600 to $133,000. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
