Job Description

Accounting Operations includes accounting operations roles involved in overseeing the day-to-day financial transactions with accuracy and in compliance with regulations, accounting principles and standards.

Covers general accounting, cost accounting (allocating and analyzing direct and indirect costs, actual vs. budgeted cost variance analysis, etc.), and budget accounting (developing and monitoring annual revenue/expense budgets for the purpose of controlling funds and measuring operating results), as deemed appropriate for the handled entity.

Also covers accounts payable / accounts receivable review whenever relevant to balance reconciliation and open items management.

Professional stream includes those who are individual contributors with main emphasis on applying technical/discipline knowledge rather than managing people to achieve results – although coaching/mentoring less experienced staff, informal supervisory responsibilities, or overseeing work of other lower level professionals or manage processes and program are common.

Individual work ranges from setting objectives and delivering on own work responsibilities to being a leading expert within a given field and influencing long term tactical decisions of the organization.

Progression within this stream reflects increasing depth of professional knowledge, project management capability, and the ability to influence others.

Will be handling more complex entity

Perform monthly balance sheet review for in-scope entities in NAM/LAM region, including verifying accuracy and substantiation of all relevant accounts, and implementing appropriate action points in case of deviation from acceptable accounting principles.

Conduct financial statement analysis, coordinate with various process owners to consolidate specific accounting and tax information (as necessary), and provide reports on operational result

Coordinate internal control attestation with relevant control performers

Relevant additional tasks, as deemed necessary

The position will primarily report to and support Area Financial Controllers.
Qualifications

Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or equivalent

Overall 5 to 6 years experience

Highly analytical, adaptable and agile

Handled accounting to reporting in the past

Knowledge in accounts receivable and accounts payable processes is an advantage, but not required

Willing to work on a night shift schedule

Willing to work overtime during closing whenever the business needs

An analytical mind that is able to link/ relate to and analyze information
