Assists in performing first level diagnostic on-site and remote support for communication problems. Responds to issues affecting clinical applications. Configures communication and network devices, including data, voice and video applications, switches, routers, firewalls, and load balances. Works with communication carriers and service providers during implementation and outages.
Job Responsibility
1.Assists in performing first level diagnostic on-site and remote support for network problems and responds to issues affecting clinical applications.
2.Configures network devices, including routers and switches in a highly available clinical environment.
3.Racks and stacks network equipment and performs testing and tracing of network cables
4.Documents network changes and implementations.
5.Works with Wide Area Network (WAN) and internet carriers during implementations and outages.
6.Operates with direct guidance and work assignments are generally straightforward and of moderate complexity.
