About the Role:
As an Associate Engineer in Test Engineering for Product Development within our Automotive division, you’ll play a hands-on role supporting the development, validation, and release of new automotive semiconductor products. You will work with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure robust test solutions, high-quality product launches, and continuous improvement of test methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and validation of test solutions for new automotive products, including test hardware and software.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) activities, including product characterization, qualification, and data collection.
- Execute test protocols, troubleshoot test issues, and analyze test data to identify trends or anomalies.
- Collaborate with design, product, and manufacturing teams to resolve technical problems and improve product manufacturability and reliability.
- Document test procedures, results, and best practices for knowledge sharing and future reference.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives, equipment maintenance, and lab organization.
- Learn and apply relevant industry standards and quality requirements (e.g., AEC-Q100, ISO 26262) in project work.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field (recent graduates encouraged to apply).
- Internship, project, or lab experience in test engineering, electronics, or semiconductor industry is a plus.
- Basic understanding of test methodologies, semiconductor devices, and data analysis tools (Excel, JMP, etc.).
- Hands-on skills with test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.) and basic programming or scripting (Python, C, or similar) are desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail.
- Good teamwork and communication abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
