Department Description
The Power Over Ethernet (POE) Design Group, develops both Integrated Circuits (IC) for Power Source Equipment (PSE) as well as Power Devices (PD) based on the IEEE802.3 International Standards. We Develop Application Boards for these ICs, we also develop PoE Systems (Midspans) and PoE Switches for Commercial and Industrial market.
What will you do in this position
Reporting to POE Design Services Team Leader, you will be part of the Development team working with all R&D groups, IC, System, Application and Testers.
You will be responsible on all PCB layout design and footprints library creation.
Assist application engineers with PCB layout design using CAD tools.
Follow internal procedures for developing evaluation and reference boards.
Assist for Generate Gerber files and Production Files for every Layout or Re-layout activity.
Assist with creating technical documentation, generating and providing necessary design files.

This position will expose you to all the aspects of the Layout activity as a one-stop-shop. Creating unified process to all the group and creating a professional focal point both inside the BU with all the Engineers and outside the BU with subcontractors of Layout, production and assembly
Key job responsibilities/duties include:
- Build unified Footprint Library according to JEDEC standards.
- Design all PoE Boards inside the BU
- Desing for manufacturability
- Create Production file and prepare for production.
- Support technical questions from Customers App team, PCB Production and Assembly

Requirements/Qualifications:
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 10 years of prior experience
- Working with Allegro/ORCAD PCB Cadence (17.4 and up) - Must
- Experienced with all the steps of Layout
- Building Footprints according to Standards/Datasheet
- PCB Layout Manual and Automatic + Constraints definition, stuck up, Controlled impedance
- Working with Mechanical Drawing for the PCB definition
- Knowledge with preparing production file for PCB production and Assembly house
- Support the subcontractors of PCB production and Assembly house
- Experience in Simulation : Thermal, resistance, ESD etc.
- Experience in Power ,Analog, Digital designs – Advantage Experience
- AGILE Oracle PLM– Advantage
