About the Role
The person in position will be responsible for doing development for Projection Mode domain under Smart Device Connectivity – SW Domains – Intelligent Cockpit.
What You Will Do
- Understand Projection Mode – Android Auto/Carplay Specifications and requirements
- Development of new Features for Android Auto/Carplay Specification upgrades.
- Perform issue analysis, debug and Bug Fixing.
- Perform Unit Test & Functional test.
- Should have good understanding of Android Architecture & Infotainment.
- Should be able to communicate and work closely with team members internal and peer domains.
- Should be able to provide the task updates as per the defined process.
- Should diligently follow the defined process, guidelines in entire SW Development cycle.
- Should be good Root Cause Analysis & Problem-solving capabilities.
- Work with both a local lead and remote teams for joint debugging of issues
What You Need to be successful
- Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer/Electronics Engineering or equivalent from premier institutes
- 2 to 4 years of experience as a Developer – preferably in Automotive SW.
- Knowledge of Android Internals and Framework/RTOS/Linux architectures
- Excellent programming skills in Java/C++
- Experience in building large complex software in a real-time, embedded, multi-processor and multi-interface environment.
- HW setup knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills while working in multi-site environment.
Bonus Points if You Have
- Worked in SAFe Agile environment.
- Good understanding of Automotive Infotainment SW Components.
- Knowledge of Hardware Bring ups & handle them.
- Connectivity Technologies/Protocols like RTP/RTSP/SIP expertise.
