The Role

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review and analyze financial, legal, operational and compliance documents in preparation for transactions.

  • Identify risks that could affect transactions and present findings to senior management along with potential solutions and risk mitigation strategies.

  • Identify areas for improving document management processes for both compliance and transactions.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure due diligence is aligned with company goals.

  • Prepare reporting as necessary summarizing findings, potential risks and recommended actions.

  • Assist with confirming compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and legal standards.

  • Provide on-going support post-close to track, monitor and complete necessary items.

  • Respond to requests for information and ensure timely access to documents.

  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA or BS in Finance, Real Estate, Business Management preferred

  • 2-3+ years of experience in real estate industry

  • Good communication skills and sense of urgency.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work in an organized, detailed manner.
