Job Description Summary

At Cushman & Wakefield, we create meaningful places where people, businesses and communities thrive. We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Associate Director to lead our Project & Development Services team in Western Australia.
Reporting to the National Director, this senior leadership role will oversee the day-to-day operations of the WA business, guide the state project management team and ensure strong governance across all projects. You will be responsible for driving successful project delivery, developing trusted client relationships and identifying opportunities for sustainable business growth.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the WA business

  • Manage, support and develop the state project team

  • Oversee project delivery, governance, risk and contractual matters

  • Monitor project financial performance, profitability and resourcing

  • Build strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders

  • Identify and convert new business opportunities

  • Lead bids, tenders and commercially viable proposals

  • Implement client, market and sales strategies for WA

  • Collaborate with national leaders and other Cushman & Wakefield teams

About you
  • A minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in project management, construction, property or a comparable professional services environment.

  • Proven experience leading teams and delivering complex projects

  • Strong commercial, financial and business development capabilities

  • Experience in procurement, contracting, risk and client management

  • Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder-management skills

  • Tertiary qualifications in building, construction, engineering or a related discipline

  • AIPM, PMI, CIOB or similar professional recognition is highly regarded
