We are seeking an experienced Associate Director – Outbound Inside Sales & Growth to lead a high-performing outbound sales organization focused on driving business growth across an existing merchant portfolio. This leadership role is responsible for owning revenue and GMV growth by improving merchant activation, increasing transaction frequency, accelerating product adoption, and maximizing customer engagement through strategic outbound sales initiatives.

The ideal candidate will bring strong commercial acumen, exceptional leadership capabilities, and extensive experience in managing large-scale inside sales teams within fast-paced, high-volume business environments.


RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesBusiness Growth & Revenue Management
  • Own and deliver GMV and revenue targets for the Outbound Inside Sales & Growth function.
  • Develop and execute outbound sales strategies that drive merchant activation, transaction growth, and long-term customer engagement.
  • Identify growth opportunities across customer segments and implement targeted initiatives to improve business performance.
  • Monitor key business metrics and take proactive actions to achieve growth objectives.
Sales Leadership
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing inside sales organization comprising Managers, Team Leaders, and Inside Sales Executives.
  • Drive accountability through effective target setting, performance management, coaching, and continuous development.
  • Foster a performance-driven culture focused on productivity, customer success, and revenue generation.
  • Ensure consistent execution of sales strategies across all teams.
Sales Operations & Performance Optimization
  • Define outbound calling strategies and optimize customer engagement across different merchant cohorts.
  • Monitor operational KPIs including contact rates, conversion rates, merchant activation, and sales productivity.
  • Conduct regular business reviews to evaluate performance and implement corrective actions where needed.
  • Improve operational efficiency through CRM adoption, process optimization, automation, and sales excellence initiatives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, Operations, Analytics, and Technology teams to execute customer growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate on campaigns that improve customer experience, product adoption, and transaction growth.
  • Support the development of scalable processes that enhance sales effectiveness and operational efficiency.
Analytics & Business Planning
  • Leverage data and analytics to identify trends, optimize campaigns, and improve conversion performance.
  • Prepare business forecasts, executive reports, and strategic recommendations for leadership.
  • Track business performance against key metrics and provide actionable insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting and effective pipeline management.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Finance, or a related discipline; MBA is preferred.
  • 15–20 years of experience in Outbound Inside Sales, Business Growth, Sales Operations, Revenue Management, or related functions.
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing large, high-performing sales organizations.
  • Proven success in driving revenue growth, merchant engagement, and customer retention.
  • Strong experience managing outbound sales operations and performance-driven teams.
  • Excellent understanding of CRM systems, sales processes, and performance management.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive business decisions.
  • Outstanding communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and coaching abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in FinTech, Payments, Banking, SaaS, Telecommunications, or other high-volume B2B industries.
  • Expertise in sales operations, process optimization, and CRM-driven sales execution.
