This high-impact role sits at the intersection of commercial forecasting and market insights, supporting RayzeBio's enterprise decision-making across its full portfolio of radiopharmaceutical assets. This person will own short- and long-term commercial forecasting across RayzeBio's portfolio — including the launch forecast for RYZ 101 in GEP-NET — while also leading market research and analytics for RayzeBio’s early-stage clinical and preclinical assets. The successful candidate will be a versatile, analytically rigorous, and commercially minded individual who can translate complex data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
Reporting to the Head of Data, Analytics and Insights, this person will serve as RayzeBio's primary owner of commercial forecasting and early-stage market insights. The forecasting remit spans the full portfolio — from near-term launch planning for RYZ 101 to long-range valuations for clinical and preclinical programs — and directly supports decision-making across Finance, Manufacturing, Business Development, Commercial, and Medical Affairs. On the insights side, this person will design and execute market research and analytics that help RayzeBio understand the potential of its emerging pipeline.
Job Responsibilities
Commercial Forecasting
Own short-range and long-range commercial forecasts across RayzeBio's full portfolio of assets, including RYZ 101, early-stage clinical and preclinical programs
Own the launch forecast for RYZ 101 in GEP-NET, including patient flow modeling, epidemiology-based sizing and assumption documentation
Integrate insights from market research, competitive intelligence, and real-world data to inform forecast assumptions
Partner with finance, manufacturing, business development, commercial, and others to ensure forecasts are aligned with enterprise planning processes, including LTFP cycles, supply and demand planning, and portfolio valuation updates
Prepare and deliver clear, insight-driven forecast updates to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders; proactively address questions on key assumptions and scenarios
Build consensus among cross-functional teams around underlying forecast assumptions, and clearly communicate range of outcomes and key risks/opportunities
Develop scenario analyses to support business development evaluations, pipeline prioritization decisions, and clinical development planning
Market Research & Insights
Apply AI to improve team execution and decision‑making
Design and execute a primary market research program to support strategic planning for early-stage clinical and preclinical assets
Conduct claims data analyses to generate insights on patient journeys, treatment patterns, disease epidemiology, and competitive dynamics
Leverage and analyze standard syndicated data sets (e.g., IQVIA, Symphony Health) to monitor market trends and inform commercial strategy
Synthesize findings from competitive intelligence activities across RayzeBio's portfolio, converting external signals into actionable strategic implications for internal stakeholders
Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, and Commercial to integrate scientific and commercial insights into a unified view of each asset's opportunity
Manage market research and analytics vendors to ensure quality, compliance, and timely execution of projects
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Statistics, or similar
7+ years in pharma / biotech market research, analytics and / or consulting
Demonstrated experience building and maintaining commercial forecasts, including patient-flow models and epidemiology-based approaches
Direct experience designing and executing primary market research studies (quantitative and qualitative)
Working knowledge of third-party data sources, including patient-level claims data and syndicated sales data
Strong communication and storytelling skills, with a proven ability to translate complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree in Business, Life Sciences, Statistics, or similar
Oncology or rare disease experience, strong preference for prior experience in radiopharmaceuticals
Hands-on analytics experience (SQL, R, Python)
Prior experience supporting a commercial launch
Familiarity with business development support, including pipeline valuations and scenario modeling
Experience supporting both US and ex-US (worldwide) commercial forecasting
Travel Required

Compensation Overview:
The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee’s work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
