• The role will be joining the Supply Chain Solutions Team within the Supply Chain, Manufacturing & Quality Technology organization and plays a critical role for the success of our future Digital Supply Chain Strategy in Sandoz Technical Operations.
• Capture and translate supply chain requirements into global system requirements and lead & consult the global development and roll-out projects.
• Ensure planning systems – Kinaxis primarily and SAP APO secondary are properly documented.
• Participate in system tests and collaborate on test case preparations.
• Engage with global key business & Technology stakeholders in all aspects for new solutions, system enhancements or process changes, covering following areas Demand, Supply, Production planning; determine requirements and deliver data-driven recommendations to improve efficiency and add value.
Job Description
Major accountabilities:
- Identifies and analyses business requirements and processes, to further develop and implement a technology/system/product, to support ongoing operations, or execution of business processes.
- Support Technology Project Managers in project execution is required
- Analyses systems performance data and provides ad-hoc and periodic reporting to the relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct assessments of processes and data to detail requirements:
- Interview business partners, organize and run requirements sessions with groups of users in the demand, supply, and production planning areas-.
- Analyze and model relevant business processes, rules and data relationships. Document “as is” best practice processes.
- Assist project teams, designing a “to be” process and drive implementation of best practices. Demonstrate the impact of procedures and their effect on the organization. Critically review and recommend changes to processes in part or in their entirety.
- Lead authoring of the Global supply chain user requirements document and drive continuous improvement of the application.
- Define, drive and support collaboration with platform teams to maximize customer value by utilizing standard platform capabilities.
- Supports the Director Supply Chain Solutions as well as the supply chain business lead in defining the strategy, roadmap and footprint based on gathered requirements and performance data
Key performance indicators:
- Feedback on Project execution (quality, time, cost)
- Process efficiency
- Steady/Uninterrupted process flow and operational stability
- Completeness and accuracy of Business Process Model (BPM)
- Business process documentation up to date
- Act as key member of Supply Chain Technology projects supporting the project manager with technical expertise
Minimum Requirements:
Education: University degree in Informatics, Computer Sciences, business or similar
Work Experience and Skills:
- > 5 years of working-expertise in the domain of process industry; preferable in pharmaceutical industry, leveraging digital technology / big data, multi-national global experience, Interactions with senior management, influencing without authority, Collaborating across boundaries
- > 3 years of experience with a proven track record in supply chain solutions project management
- > 3 years of experience with Computerized System Validation within the pharmaceutical industry
- Advanced skills in: Business Analysis, Requirements Definition & Management, Analytical Thinking and Financial Modelling, Influencing, and persuading, managing challenges, Proactive thinking, Effective Communication, Developing and delivering presentations.
- Thorough understanding of process architecture and IT industry standard service lifecycle management practices
- Advanced skills to provide authoritative technical and professional guidance to external and/or internal stakeholders.
- Interacts with a typically diverse internal and external audience and is required to interpret and communicate complex information.
- Senior IT professional delivering strong technical and process expertise in Supply Chain Solutions
- Good understanding of current Supply Chain IT solutions e.g. Kinaxis RR, SAP APO
- Solid understanding of working in GxP classified environments, CSV

- Fluent English written & spoken
