Job Description:
We’re looking for an Associate Director, Social Marketing & Strategy to lead social strategy across key clients, with a strong focus on campaign-driven work within Integrated Agency Teams (IATs). This role is responsible for translating brand and paid campaigns into effective, culturally relevant, social-first ideas and executions—not just always-on content.
You’ll play a key role in making integrated campaigns work on social, acting as a confident and credible voice in cross-functional settings. This includes pushing recommendations, engaging in thoughtful debate, and influencing decisions—while maintaining strong relationships and reading the room.
Role Responsibilities
Lead the social workstream within IATs, ensuring integrated campaigns translate into strong social executions
Develop and optimize social strategies aligned to campaign objectives and KPIs
Partner closely with other IATs, as well as internal Account, Creative, Paid Media, and Influencer teams to deliver cohesive work
Advocate for social best practices and push work forward with confidence and clarity
Act as an authoritative voice in meetings, comfortable operating “toe-to-toe” with stakeholders
Balance conviction with diplomacy, and able to challenge thinking without being overly bullish
Apply strong strategic thinking grounded in human behavior, culture, and platform dynamics
Ensure your POV is heard while building trust and strong cross-functional partnerships
Brief creators and guide content development to deliver high-quality, insight-driven work
Use performance data and social analytics to inform optimization and creative direction
Communicate clearly and confidently with senior stakeholders, adapting style to the room
Foster collaboration across teams with a people-first mindset
Navigate competing priorities, personalities, and evolving demands effectively
Manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment with frequent status updates
Stay adaptable and resilient as priorities shift and new challenges emerge
Manage and mentor Social Strategists and Managers, elevating team output and growth
Qualifications
7–9+ years in social marketing
Prior experience working within Integrated Agency Teams (IATs)
Strong background in owned, earned, and organic social (required)
Experience translating brand and paid campaigns into social-first content

Regardless of your work location, we expect our employees to be flexible to meet the needs of our Company and clients, which may include attendance in an office.
The annual salary range for this position is $94,875-$138,000. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
