The Associate Director of Pharmacy Informatics leads enterprise pharmacy informatics strategy and delivers technology-enabled solutions that improve medication safety, clinical effectiveness, affordability, and care-team workflows. The role develops, configures, tests, implements, and supports medication-related EHR tools; translates data into actionable insights; and leads cross-functional initiatives from design through launch. This leader partners with clinical, technology, operational, executive, governance, and vendor stakeholders; chairs the pharmacy subcommittee of the EHR Governance Clinical Steering Council; and supports annual business planning and end-to-end pharmacy program design.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead pharmacy informatics strategy and execution across national, regional, and local teams, aligning initiatives with enterprise priorities and customer needs
- Oversee the design, build, configuration, testing, implementation, troubleshooting, and ongoing support of medication-related EHR programs, clinical decision support, and medication record methodology
- Develop technology solutions that improve medication safety, clinical effectiveness, cost efficiency, and care-delivery workflows
- Use data and partner with analysts to develop interactive dashboards, define key performance indicators, identify opportunities, and measure clinical and business value
- Lead complex, cross-functional projects through scope definition, risk mitigation, issue resolution, implementation, and on-time, in-scope launch
- Provide advanced pharmacy informatics expertise and operational support to clinical, technology, business, and executive partners
- Present recommendations, project status, anticipated outcomes, and performance results to senior leaders and EHR governance bodies; influence adoption of new ideas, products, and approaches
- Chair the pharmacy subcommittee of the EHR Governance Clinical Steering Council and maintain project knowledge and best practices
- Partner with external vendors and service providers to define scope and performance expectations, including collaboration with Surescripts on quality and real-time pharmacy benefit initiatives
- Coach and mentor team members while fostering effective collaboration in a matrixed environment

Required Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
- Current, unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of residence
- 5+ years of experience as a clinical pharmacist, including pharmacy operations and Pharmacy & Therapeutics experience
- 5+ years in a clinical informatics role, including development of electronic medical record tools and medication-management solutions
- 3+ years of experience with medication software configuration, testing, and implementation
- 3+ years of experience working in Epic EHR, with solid proficiency
- 3+ years of professional project management experience
- Experience communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders, building professional relationships, resolving problems, managing competing priorities, and maintaining accuracy in work products
Preferred Qualifications:
- ASHP-accredited residency and PGY2 pharmacy informatics residency
- Epic certification
- Experience in an ambulatory care setting
Competencies:
- Advanced analytical and technical skills, including the ability to translate data into recommendations and communicate project return on investment
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, prioritize competing demands, and lead complex initiatives in a matrixed environment

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $112,700 - $193,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
