• Process transformation:
Challenge and refine existing processes in alignment with industry best practices.
Identify operational risk & efficiency concerns, proposing actionable solutions.
• Establish & Maintain systematic workflow artefacts across business units / products.
• New Product Approval support: Work with key Ops stakeholders to assess NPA requests initiated by business leads.
• Authoring of operational Business Requirement documentation
• Work with technology teams to transition operational requirements for technical solutioning.
• Project Management: Plan, track tasks, manage meetings, create project artefacts, escalate project matters & manage key stakeholders.
• Secure approval for process improvements from relevant operations leaders.
Requirements
• Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of financial markets experience with a strong knowledge of operational process and practice across asset classes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders at varied levels of management.
• Proven experience in driving process improvement / transformation.
• Knowledge of financial products used across Equity Derivatives and FICC business lines.
• Ability to leverage innovative approaches to realising operational efficiency such as AI / Power Automate, python coding and optimal usage of Microsoft applications.
• Strong documentation and workflow illustration skills
• Ability to multi-task across various business and department initiatives.
• Proactive approach to work in an autonomous environment.
• Strong program / project management skills
• Control orientated and risk aware.
• Familiarity with swift messaging
• Proficient in English
• Fluent Cantonese preferable but not mandatory.
