Job Description:
Summary
The Associate Director (AD), Neuroscience Marketing Movement Disorders is a key role on the Neuroscience Commercial Team and will report to the Senior Director, Neuroscience Marketing. The successful candidate will lead US marketing initiatives focused on driving customer and patient engagement, conversion, and retention to help the Dysport team achieve near-term revenue goals that deliver on ambitious brand growth. Key promotional activities and responsibilities include yearly Dysport strategic & tactical planning, the development and execution of HCP and Patient promotional materials, digital marketing strategies and tactics, including expanded omnichannel capabilities, and the design and management of Brand presence at key congresses.
Included in the scope will be contributing to the brand’s overall engagement strategy and planning, day to day sales team partnership, POA/NBM planning & execution, and budget management. The role will also be responsible for collaboration with training and field leadership to ensure best in class training for the field force.
Cross-functional collaboration skills and proven track record of building and executing marketing project plans in collaboration with multiple cross-functional partners will be critical in this role.
Main responsibilities / job expectations
Core Marketing Activities
Brand Planning and Execution - Strategic & Tactical for Movement Disorders (Spasticity & Cervical Dystonia)
Support development of brand content for personal and non-personal promotion, aligned to key brand priorities and messaging
Lead strategy for omnichannel capabilities across HCP and patient, partnering with Neuroscience Omnichannel Director
Lead the development of Congress engagements, including booth/material design, content development for educational programs and on-site management/execution (in collaboration with Operations and Field)
Lead the planning and execution of expanded patient marketing programs, including rework of owned media and omnichannel activity
Develop and monitor KPIs for all responsible initiatives and communicate performance on a regular basis, including participation in monthly Business Reviews
Ensure compliant execution of all activities
Cross Functional Leadership & Collaboration
Collaborate with:
Neuro Field leadership to gain alignment and provide support with sales force execution and other business needs, including Congress engagements
V&A, Medical and other key cross functional brand team members on brand promotional development, execution, and performance management
Neuroscience Omnichannel Director, BOS and Global digital in the design and execution of digital activity
Finance in management of budget
Insights for design/execution of programs and integration of learning into promotional materials
Advanced Analytics to ensure appropriate understanding of impact
Knowledge, abilities & experience
BA/BS in marketing or a related field; MBA is a plus
At least 8 years of progressive pharmaceutical or biotechnology marketing experience demonstrating strong tactical execution
Neuroscience and/or specialty experience a strong plus
Buy and bill pharma marketing experience a plus, not required
Biopharma sales experience a plus, not required
Demonstrated ability to achieve key milestones and business objectives working with peers and colleagues with and without direct authority
Demonstrated organization skills with proven ability to manage multiple complex projects
Ability to consistently define project workplans, meet deadlines, and manage budgets
Effective management of Agency teams and external partners/vendors
Excellent written and verbal English communications skills; ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels of the organization; strong presentation skills required
Excellent skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Ability to travel domestically (up to 20%)
