The position
Lead the end-to-end marketing strategy and execution for the Hospital portfolio, with primary focus on biosimilars and hospital products, ensuring successful launches, optimized tender performance, rapid uptake, and sustainable growth.
Responsibilities
The role will include but is not limited to:
Hospital Portfolio Strategy & Brand Leadership
- Define and execute pre‑launch, launch, and post‑launch strategies
- Develop short‑ and long‑term commercial plans aligned with hospital and tender dynamics
- Analyze competitive landscape, treatment pathways, and positioning
- Identify key drivers of adoption including pricing, evidence, and value messaging
Market Access, Tenders & Institutional Stakeholder Engagement
- Support and shape tender strategies with Market Access
- Contribute to compelling tender value propositions
- Engage key stakeholders (KOLs, hospital pharmacists, payers, decision makers)
- Collaborate with relevant industry and institutional bodies
Forecasting, Tender Planning & Performance Analytics
- Build forecasts integrating tender timelines, patient flow, and uptake scenarios
- Run scenario planning (pricing, competition, supply)
- Monitor performance and drive data‑based decisions
- Ensure alignment with Market Access, Supply Chain, and Finance
Brand Execution & Commercial Excellence (Hospital Focus)
- Drive omnichannel campaigns for hospital stakeholders
- Develop sales tools and value materials
- Maximize sales force effectiveness
- Track and optimize hospital‑specific KPIs
Cross‑functional Leadership & Operational Alignment (Enhanced)
- Ensure alignment across Commercial, Market Access, Supply Chain, Regulatory, and Medical
- Align tender participation, pricing, and portfolio strategy
- Integrate tender outcomes into forecasting and resource planning
- Balance trade‑offs (e.g., supply vs. tender competitiveness)
- Ensure launch and tender readiness across all milestones
Global & Regional Franchise Interface
- Act as primary contact for Global/Regional teams
- Represent local insights in global discussions
- Translate global strategy into local execution
- Contribute to best‑practice sharing
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations and local guidelines
- Oversee approval of promotional materials
Required Education, Experience, and Skills
Technical
Strong pharmaceutical marketing experience (hospital preferred)
Deep understanding of hospital procurement, tenders, and patient pathways
Proven launch experience
Leadership
Strong cross‑functional leadership in a matrix environment
Ability to manage complexity and influence stakeholders
Soft Skills
Strategic mindset with strong execution focus

Excellent communication and decision‑making skills
Experience
8–12+ years in pharmaceuticals
Solid hospital / specialty care background
Proven launch experience
Scientific or business degree (MBA a plus)
