ABOUT THE ROLE

As part of this vision, we are seeking an Associate Director of Marketing to lead the Immunology and Neuroscience marketing teams, driving strategic brand excellence and commercial performance across both business units.
This leader will oversee Brand Managers and Marketing Sr Associates, provide strategic direction and coaching, and serve as a key partner to the BU Head of Immunology & Neuroscience. Additionally, this person will manage a BD partnership by being the Point of Contact between Lilly and the partner. The role requires a strong ability to operate across therapeutic areas simultaneously, sharp coaching skills, focus and energy to balance portfolio priorities while maintaining a laser-focused eye on patient impact and business results.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Define and execute brand strategies for the Immunology and Neuroscience portfolios in Brazil, leading annual planning (ABP), Opex management, and performance tracking.
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Brand Managers and Marketing Sr Associates, fostering a high-performance and learning-oriented culture.
Orchestrate cross-functional alignment with Medical, PRA, Corporate Affairs, Legal, HR and E&C to deliver integrated, compliant brand plans.
Drive multichannel and digital marketing campaigns, leveraging customer and market insights to optimize engagement across HCP, patient, and caregiver audiences.
Partner with the BU Head and global/IBU teams to support pipeline readiness, pre-launch planning, and lifecycle strategy across both therapeutic areas.
Engage Key Opinion Leaders alongside the Medical team to shape scientific advocacy and strengthen stakeholder relationships.
Manage a BD partnership with other pharma company aiming to maximize results
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree (required).
Minimum 5 years leadership experience in pharmaceutical marketing positions, with demonstrated progression in scope and responsibility.
Minimum 2 years leadership experience in pharmaceutical Sales positions, with demonstrated progression in scope and responsibility.
Proven track record in brand planning and brand strategy development.
Strong ability to manage Opex and run robust Business and Customer Plans.
Demonstrated capability to lead, coach, engage and develop marketing professionals.
Strong cross-functional leadership skills — able to align and mobilize teams across Medical, PRA, Legal, and Corporate Affairs.
Demonstrated ability to deliver results in complex, ambiguous and environments.
Experience designing and executing multichannel and digital marketing campaigns.
Proficiency in market research methodologies and insight generation.
Fluent in English.
ADDITIONAL PREFERENCES
MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree
Recent product launch experience in a competitive pharmaceutical market.
Prior experience in Dermatology, Neuroscience, Rheumatology and/or Gastroenterology therapeutic areas.
PRA experience.
Strong business acumen combined with scientific curiosity.
Exceptional communication skills — ability to synthesize complexity into clear, compelling narratives.
Demonstrated critical thinking and creative problem-solving capabilities.
