Role Summary

We are seeking an Associate Director, Market Access, Nordics to help shape and execute market access strategies across the Nordic region. This role will report to the Head of Market Access Nordics, and is well suited to a market access professional who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, enjoys working collaboratively, and thrives in an environment where taking ownership and showing initiative are essential. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong judgment, a proactive mindset, and a good sense of when alignment with key stakeholders and functions is needed to move work forward effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop P&R across the Nordic region for current and future products/indications.
  • Lead or contribute to the localization of global and regional access strategies.
  • Ensure the payer and reimbursement perspective is consistently represented in cross-functional discussions and strategic decision-making.
  • Support the development of compelling value propositions, access narratives, and evidence-based materials.
  • Partner closely with Medical, Commercial, and International HQ HEOR and IP&MA to align on evidence generation, value communication, launch readiness, and access planning.
  • Contribute to pricing strategy, business cases, and access-related forecasting through strong insight and analysis.
  • Engage externally with relevant healthcare authorities, reimbursement bodies, and other key stakeholders.
  • Monitor and interpret changes in the Nordic policy, pricing, reimbursement, and payer landscape, translating insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Drive projects independently while maintaining strong cross-functional alignment and collaboration across local, regional, and international stakeholders.
  • Contribute to a positive, high-performing team culture with strong team spirit, shared learning, and a willingness to support a broad range of priorities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, health economics, pharmacy, public health, business, or another relevant field.
  • Demonstrated experience with pricing and reimbursement processes in at least one Nordic country is required.
  • Understanding of Nordic healthcare systems, payer dynamics, and reimbursement decision-making.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence across functions and levels.
  • Proven ability to work independently, take ownership of key deliverables, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong judgment and collaboration skills, including knowing when to act autonomously and when broader alignment is needed.
  • Fluency in English and at least one Nordic language
