You will set the vision for how learning is designed—ensuring solutions are learner-centered, performance-driven, and grounded in modern experience design principles. You will guide your team in diagnosing business needs, shaping end-to-end learning journeys, and delivering measurable capability outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop a high-performing team of Learning Experience Designers
Set the vision for modern, performance-based learning design (vs. content-heavy training)
Translate business needs into scalable, learner-centered learning strategies
Oversee end-to-end design of blended learning solutions across channels and platforms
Ensure quality, consistency, and measurable outcomes across all learning deliverables
Act as a strategic advisor to senior leaders; align on priorities, outcomes, and investment
Leverage AI, data, and emerging technologies to improve speed, quality, and impact
Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and design excellence
Qualifications
Required:
5+ years of Learning & Development, learning design, or capability-building experience
Experience leading teams delivering scalable learning solutions
Strong ability to translate business needs into performance-driven design
Knowledge of instructional design, adult learning, and human-centered design principles
Experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving alignment
Change leadership experience supporting organizational transformation
Preferred:
Experience with AI-enabled design practices, personalization, or adaptive learning
Strong digital learning platform and technology acumen
Experience leading change or transformation initiatives
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
