Position Title: Associate Director, IT Business Partnering & Project Management
Location: Taguig City, Metro Manila – 2 days per week onsite
Role Purpose
The Associate Director, IT Business Partnering & Project Management is accountable for leading an integrated technology delivery function that spans strategic business partnering, project and programme execution, portfolio insight, and delivery governance. The role ensures that technology demand is shaped effectively, prioritised appropriately, governed with discipline, and delivered to a high standard.
The postholder leads the IT Business Partners and IT Project Managers, embedding strong PMO practices across both areas to create an end‑to‑end operating model — from strategic intake and prioritisation through to execution, reporting, and benefits realisation.
They work with the Transformation Office and senior stakeholders across the business to build trusted relationships, influence decision-making, and ensure that technology investments deliver measurable business value.
Key Responsibilities

Strategic IT Business Partnering
· Lead and develop the IT Business Partnering function to strengthen engagement between IT and business units.
· Oversee demand shaping, strategic roadmaps, business case development, and investment prioritisation.
· Ensure business outcomes, value, and strategic alignment are clearly understood before investment decisions.
· Act as a senior escalation point for business demand, expectations, and stakeholder relationships.
Project & Programme Delivery Leadership
· Lead the IT Project Management, ensuring high‑quality planning, RAID management, execution, and delivery outcomes.
· Promote consistent and effective use of project delivery methodologies (agile, waterfall, hybrid).
· Drive delivery predictability, discipline, and continuous improvement across all change initiatives.
· Ensure benefits are identified early and tracked throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Embedded PMO Governance & Delivery Assurance
Embedded PMO Governance & Delivery Assurance
· Embed PMO disciplines such as governance, reporting, standards, and quality assurance across the Business Partnering and Project Management teams.
· Oversee portfolio reporting — including project status, risks, issues, dependencies, financials, and resource utilisation.
· Provide independent challenge and assurance through health checks, delivery reviews, and lessons‑learned activities.
· Ensure strong financial management, forecasting, and benefits realisation across the change portfolio.
Integrated Operating Model
· Build a cohesive operating model that connects strategic demand shaping with disciplined delivery execution and embedded governance.
· Drive clarity of process, handoffs, and roles across the Business Partnering and Project Management teams.
· Champion joined‑up ways of working to remove inefficiencies and improve the end‑to‑end lifecycle.
· Promote tooling, transparency, and data-driven portfolio insights.
People Leadership & team Development
· People manage the combined Business Partner and Project Management teams.
· Create a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
· Coach and develop team members, establishing professional development opportunities.
· Build stakeholder engagement, delivery excellence, assurance, financial management, and benefits realisation.
Financial & Resource Management
· Oversee portfolio and project financials, ensuring robust forecasting, tracking, and cost control.
· Lead capacity and resource planning across the Business Partnering and Project Management teams.
· Support investment cases and ensure strong financial governance across all technology change.
Senior Stakeholder & ExCom Engagement
· Build trusted relationships with senior leaders
· Communicate complex information in a clear, compelling, and executive-friendly manner.
