POSITION SUMMARY
The Associate Director, Investments serves as a key liaison between advisors, operations, and investment partners to ensure accurate and timely execution of investment-related activities. This position processes new account setups and transfers and manages liquidations with strict adherence to compliance standards. The role includes handling dual signature requirements, as well as supporting operational requests such as password resets and log-in credential unlocks. This role requires strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage complex processes across multiple platforms while maintaining compliance with firm policies and regulatory standards.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process new account setups, maintenance, and transfers using multiple systems.
- Assist with account liquidations and ensure proper documentation and compliance.
- Handle dual signature requirements for investment transactions.
- Support operations requests such as password resets and log-in credential unlocks.
- Respond to inquiries related to LOAs, paperwork, and general account questions.
- Confirm investment account details via email and maintain shared inboxes.
- Resolve Salesforce cases including locked logins, closing funds, and statement requests.
- Ensure accurate loading and correction of documents in system workflows.
- Ensure adherence to firm policies and regulatory requirements for all investment activities.
- Lead and support projects such as signer updates, paperwork corrections, and other initiatives.
- Exhibit an elevated level of professionalism and a client-focused approach that is responsive, proactive, accountable, and reliable, adjusting communication appropriately for various levels and parties.
- Work in a dynamic team environment and participate in strategic initiatives, recommending best practices and operational efficiencies to create better client experience, and maintain high quality data.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director, Investments.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s degree required in finance, business, or another related field
- 3 or more years of experience in financial services or the investment management industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships
- Advanced Microsoft skills (Excel including macros, PowerPoint, Word, etc)
- Strong knowledge of investment products, compliance standards, and operational workflows
- Working knowledge of current federal IRS rules and regulations governing donor-advised funds preferred
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and work independently
- Strong analysis and critical thinking with the ability to implement plans
