About the role 
This role is responsible for overseeing and optimizing Wonder Group’s (Wonder, Blue Apron, Grubhub and Tastemade) holistic SAAS & Technology Procurement strategies. You will evaluate, continuously monitor, negotiate, set strategies and report on the company’s SAAS & Technology footprint. You will work directly with key stakeholders within the Engineering, Cyber Security and Corporate IT groups to achieve successful outcomes within our SAAS supplier negotiations. You will also partner with the rest of our Indirect Procurement team to ensure SAAS suppliers within other functional groups (e.g., “Martech”) are completed and monitored consistently. You will have the bird’s eye view of our entire Technology stack and ensure we are driving towards the same goals. Ultimately, you have a passion for negotiating and optimizing SAAS technology stacks that drive efficiencies 
Key Responsibilities 
● Evaluate and consolidate, where appropriate, Wonder Group’s tech stack in collaboration with Corporate IT and other functional groups 
● Negotiate to successful outcomes on SAAS renewals and new suppliers 
● “PMO” new software requests and ensure business cases are well documented and vetted and evaluate if Wonder Group does not have a similar tool within the tech stack that can serve the requester needs 
● Track and report on, at a minimum quarterly, software decision outcomes (increase in spend, decrease in spend, contract deprecation, etc.) that drive towards overall reduction in Wonder Group’s software footprint  
● Evaluate and drive towards recommendation on outside benchmarking solutions to support negotiations 
● Coordinate with Corporate IT to ensure we have effective deprovisioning strategies that drive toward efficiencies in license based contracts 
● Ensure we are setting the standard, and tracking, on software renewal terms & conditions, including, but not limited to: auto renews, uptime, SLAs, etc. 
● Provide strategic inputs on SAAS supplier trends and standards across the industry (e.g., what is typical customer support costs as a percentage of total bill) that other Indirect team peers and functional groups can leverage 
● Collaborate with Legal, Cyber Security and Corporate IT on AI topics and standards 
● Identify gaps in resourcing, knowledge, process, policy, etc. and provide recommendations  
The experience you have 
  • 8+ years of experience in Indirect Procurement and SAAS specific negotiations 
  • Must have experience within a multi-entity and/or fast-paced environment 
  • Bachelor's degree required - in related field 
Base Salary

New York: $149,000 - $157,000 per year

Wonder uses geographic-specific salary structures, which means the salary offered may vary depending on where the job is located. The final salary offer will take into account various factors, such as the candidate's skills, education, training, credentials, and experience.
