Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a proactive and experienced Associate Director, HyperCell Program to oversee the project management aspects of the HyperCell program, as well as coordinate activities across the entire GoSolo program at the site level. This role will involve managing a portfolio of business process improvement projects and ensuring alignment and coordination among the Automated Manufacturing Suite (AMS), Automated Quality Control (AQC), and HyperCell subparts. The successful candidate will ensure effective project scheduling, resource planning, and communication, supported by strong project and portfolio management expertise and change management training.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the project management activities for the HyperCell program and coordinate overall site-level activities for the GoSolo program.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and resource plans, ensuring alignment across the AMS, AQC, and HyperCell subparts.
  • Proactively manage Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies (RAID logs) to support the seamless integration of activities across all GoSolo subparts.
  • Create and present communication and governance reporting content to stakeholders, ensuring clarity of coordination efforts and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the site and network to drive the effective execution of business process improvement projects.
  • Act as the central point of contact for coordination among the AMS, AQC, and HyperCell subparts, managing activities with urgency and efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to project management best practices and methodologies, continuously seeking improvements in coordinating and executing program activities.
  • Support the development and execution of change management strategies to ensure successful adoption and sustainability of process improvements across the GoSolo program.
  • Prepare executive presentations and facilitate meetings to communicate project and program status, achievements, and next steps.
  • Contribute to developing strategic business cases and executive communications to support transformation initiatives across the GoSolo program.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • At least 8 years of experience in project management, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries.
  • Expertise in project and portfolio management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and executive presentation preparation.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and coordinate activities across multiple program subparts.
  • Training or certification in change management principles and practices.
  • Strong organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proactive, with a sense of urgency and the ability to anticipate and address project coordination challenges effectively.
  • The starting compensation for this job is a range from $179,250 - $217,200, plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility).

           

The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and where the job is performed.

           

Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
