Job Description

HR AI Solutions Architect, Mumbai

The HR AI Solution Architect is the senior technical leader responsible for turning NIQ’s HR AI vision into practical, enterprise-ready solutions: from one intelligent front door for HR, to agentic experiences that can complete work on behalf of employees and managers, to predictive insights that support earlier, better decisions. Working at the intersection of HR and technology, this role turns strategic priorities into secure, scalable AI capabilities.
This is a pivotal role in the next phase of HR transformation. It combines architecture leadership with hands-on delivery: shaping the technical approach, guiding key design decisions, and personally driving priority builds. As a senior individual contributor, the role works across HR, Tech, Security, Legal, and vendors to ensure HR AI solutions are well designed, governed, and built in a way that improves experience and drives efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Translate the HR AI product vision into technical architecture and solution designs.
  • Lead architecture workshops and solution reviews for priority HR AI use cases, using a product mindset to ensure solutions solve real user needs and meet enterprise requirements.
  • Define how HR AI solutions connect to HR systems and data, and set the technical guardrails so they are secure, reliable, and aligned with responsible AI expectations.
  • Act as the connector across HR, Tech, Security, Legal, platform teams, and external vendors so decisions are aligned and work moves forward efficiently.
  • If we build, directly design and build agents in Copilot/Foundry for the most complex or high-value solutions, while supporting other HR builders in their own builds; if needed, oversee technical delivery for more complex code-based solutions.
  • If we buy, partner closely with the vendor solution architect on setup, integration, rollout, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor usage, performance, and improvement opportunities across the HR AI solution, partnering with the HR AI Product Leader on adoption and feedback.
  • Create playbooks and technical guidance so HR teams can build and manage AI solutions more effectively.
  • Support HR builders using no-code and low-code tools, helping them strengthen their solutions while staying within clear guardrails.
  • Bring together HR builders as a community of practice so they can share their experiences and learn faster.
  • Troubleshoot HR-owned AI solutions and help teams improve quality, usability, and business impact over time.

Partnership with the HR AI Product Leader
  • The HR AI Product Leader would own the product lens: defining the experience vision, prioritizing use cases, sequencing work, aligning decisions to HR strategy and enterprise value, and owning the communication strategy so the experience feels cohesive across HR. The HR AI Solution Architect would partner alongside this role to turn that vision into the actual solution: determining the right architecture, build-vs-buy approach, and technical decisions for each use case. Working in partnership with HR and Tech, the role would ensure solutions can be built, integrated, governed, and scaled effectively.

Qualifications

  • Significant hands-on experience building and deploying enterprise AI, automation, or agent-based solutions: ideally including Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, Foundry, or similar platforms.
  • Strong solution architecture and integration experience across enterprise systems, APIs, data, security, and workflow design.
  • Experience translating ambiguous business needs into practical technical solutions that can move from concept to production.
  • Experience working in HR technology domains or similarly complex enterprise workflows where policy, data sensitivity, and user experience matter.
  • Strong judgment on build-vs-buy decisions, including experience working with external vendors and solution architects.
  • Experience setting guardrails for security, privacy, responsible AI, reliability, and observability in an enterprise environment.
  • Ability to operate as a senior individual contributor who can both design the approach and personally drive delivery on the highest-priority solutions.
