Job Description

Our Brisbane highways team is in a really strong position, delivering a diverse mix of projects across state and local government clients, including TMR, while continuing to secure new work through sustained infrastructure investment. There’s genuine momentum here a busy team, a healthy forward pipeline and the backing of AECOM’s broader ANZ network.

How you’ll make a difference

• Lead the delivery of complex highways and road infrastructure projects across Queensland

• Provide technical oversight and direction across multidisciplinary design teams

• Build and strengthen relationships with key clients, including TMR and local authorities

• Support work winning activities, including proposals and strategic pursuits

• Mentor and develop engineers across the Brisbane team

• Contribute to the growth and capability of the highways business

The qualities that help you thrive

• Extensive experience in civil engineering, with a focus on highways/road design

• Strong background delivering projects for TMR and/or local government clients

• Demonstrated leadership experience within a consultancy environment

• RPEQ – essential

• Proven ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and drive project outcomes

• A commercial mindset with experience supporting or leading work winning
