The Associate Director will prepare research reports, analyze financial data, coordinate dissemination, and manage projects in Economics and finance sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and publish reports, maintain and develop proprietary database, build quantitative models and spreadsheets, compile presentation materials and information for other research products.
- Proactively identify and monitor developments for assigned area of research coverage, and disseminate key market information to research analysts, clients and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct macroeconomic and financial market research to provide views and recommendations.
- Coordinate the publication and dissemination of research reports and products.
- Revert on requests from internal stakeholders and external clients in a timely fashion.
- Coordinate and participate in discussions involving cross-disciplinary research.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of projects of strategic importance.
- Conduct other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Head of Research.
Key Requirements:
- Strong academic background in Economics, Finance or other equivalent professional qualifications.
- Candidate should have at least 2 years of experience covering Economics or financial markets.
- Able to demonstrate a clear understanding of economic and financial market concepts.
- Excellent written and spoken English, with ability to effectively communicate thoughts in a succinct and dynamic manner.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills as well as having a proactive approach to problem solving.
- High level of personal motivation to improve knowledge and skills, as well as having the ability to work under time-sensitive deadlines.
- Proficiency in Bloomberg, Macrobond, Eviews/Mathlab/Stata or other statistical programmes is recommended, and mandatory for Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Skills Required
