This growing practice advises clients on matters involving fraud and misconduct investigations, forensic accounting and financial analysis, post-acquisition and other commercial disputes, bribery and corruption matters, asset tracing, investigative due diligence, litigation support, regulatory response, and other sensitive situations requiring rigorous analysis, sound judgment, and clear communication.

Position Overview
As an Associate Director in Hilco Global Investigations & Dispute Resolution practice, you will oversee complex matters, manage multiple engagement teams, and serve as a key leader in both execution and practice development. You will play a significant role in how the practice delivers work, develops talent, and expands in the market.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead large or high-complexity investigations, forensic accounting matters, and commercial disputes from planning through delivery
- Oversee multiple workstreams and engagement teams, ensuring quality, responsiveness, and defensibility of analyses and conclusions
- Serve as a primary day-to-day contact for clients, external counsel, and other senior stakeholders
- Direct preparation and review of reports, presentations, accounting analyses, damages analyses, and other key deliverables
- Manage engagement economics, resource planning, timelines, and risk considerations
- Coach and develop managers, associates, and Analyst across active matters
- Help drive consistency in methodology, quality standards, and execution across the practice
- Support proposals, pitches, thought leadership, recruiting, and strategic growth initiatives
- Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships and connect clients with Hilco’s broader capabilities where relevant
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, or a related discipline required; candidates with master’s degrees (e.g., MAcc, MBA, MSF, or similar) are strongly encouraged and will be prioritized
- Approximately 7–10 years of relevant experience in investigations, forensic accounting, disputes, compliance, valuation, restructuring advisory, or related consulting services
- Significant experience managing complex, multi-workstream matters and interacting directly with senior clients and counsel
- Strong technical grounding in accounting, finance, investigations, and dispute-related analyses
- Demonstrated leadership in engagement oversight, team development, and client service
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Strong judgment and ability to operate effectively in sensitive, high-stakes, deadline-driven matters
- CPA preferred; additional credentials such as CFE, CAMS, CFA, CFF, or ABV are advantageous
- Willingness to travel based on client and business needs
Candidates are expected to be onsite at Hilco Global offices and work primarily in person with their teams (at least for the first 3-6 months to build connections/relationships). Travel may be required depending on client needs and engagement demands.
Work Arrangement
Hilco Global believes that complex advisory work benefits from collaboration, mentorship, and real-time problem solving. As such, professionals in the Global Investigations & Dispute Resolution practice are expected to work primarily from the office, collaborating closely with their teams and colleagues across Hilco’s broader platform.
While flexibility may be available when business needs permit, the practice operates as an office-based team environment to support high-quality client service, professional development, and team cohesion.
Annual base salary gross: $160,000-225,000. The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end of Hilco’s salary for this position based on geography. Actual base salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base pay is one component of Hilco’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards and benefits include cash bonuses, long term incentives, health insurance, accident and life insurance, and retirement benefits.
