Key Responsibilities
Finance & Strategy
- Lead agency-wide financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Oversee accounting operations, monthly and year-end close, audits, and IRS Form 990.
- Prepare and present financial reports to the CEO, Finance Committee, and Board of Directors.
- Ensure strong internal controls, accurate financial reporting, and compliance with financial policies.
- Manage grants, funding reporting, and financial modeling to support organizational growth.
Operations & Leadership
- Partner with program leadership to align financial and operational resources with mission delivery.
- Collaborate with Human Resources on compensation, benefits, performance metrics, and workforce planning.
- Maintain positive relationships with government agencies, funders, vendors, and program partners.
Facilities, IT, and Administration
- Oversee facilities operations, vendor contracts, capital projects, and regulatory compliance.
- Support IT planning, vendor selection, and cost management in collaboration with the CEO.
- Ensure organizational policies and procedures support effective and people-centered operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience.
- Five or more years of progressive financial and operations management experience.
- Demonstrated experience with budgeting, audits, cash flow, grants, and financial reporting.
- Proven ability to translate financial information for non-finance stakeholders.
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a mission-driven environment.
