Job Description

Responsible for leading the strategic direction and execution of Global Facility Planning and Project Management across East Coast and LATAM regions, aligning projects with corporate goals and anticipating industry trends. Manages the development and implementation of a comprehensive global strategy for facility and infrastructure utilization, overseeing over 2.8MM SF of facilities with over 13,000 employees including a full range of office, MFG, RD and warehouse space. Strategic planning, asset utilization, long-range planning, and change management are leveraged to enhance global facility productivity. Maintaining relationships with stakeholders at all levels, integrating technology with business needs, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Responsible for coordinating efforts of global teams and external partners, guiding project teams to achieve budgetary and strategic goals. Manages key partnerships to facilitate outsourced models, collaborating with affiliate general managers and Finance Directors.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic direction and execution Global Facility Planning and Project Management across East Coast and LATAM regions, driving multiple large-scale, global projects or programs to meet key business objectives. Anticipate industry trends and shape a future vision aligned with corporate goals and critical business objectives.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive global corporate strategy for facility and infrastructure utilization, managing over 2.8MM SF of facilities with over 13,000 employees including a full range of office, MFG, RD and warehouse space, to support the corporation's business strategies.
  • Oversee all phases of project execution, from strategic analysis/planning, asset utilization, project and change management, long-range planning (LRP) development, funding, construction, project delivery and capital planning to increase the utilization and productivity of the corporation's facilities on a global basis.
  • Assess and address global facility demands by maintaining a network of key partners from commercial, R&D, operations, and headquarters functions, while maintaining relationships at all stakeholder levels, including senior leaders and Area and Intercontinental VPs.
  • Develop project scopes by integrating technology with business needs, understanding the strategic needs of customers, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Coordinate efforts of internal global teams (Real Estate, Business Technology Solutions, Security, Environmental Health & Safety, Finance) and manage relationships with external partners in project management, engineering, interior design, and workplace strategy.
  • Guide project teams in applying established project management tools to maintain budgetary constraints and achieve project goals, while developing strategies that align with customer business objectives and fostering long-term business and organizational strategies.
  • Manage key stakeholder partnerships with external entities to facilitate an outsourced model, leading groups or divisional task forces, and contributing to leadership roles in professional affiliations. Provide mentoring across technical and organizational areas within various work groups and functions.
  • Develop facility strategies in collaboration with affiliate general managers and Finance directors to drive strategic alignment and performance.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree required, with preferred fields in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or closely related discipline is desired. A post-graduate education / degree is desired and may contribute towards the desired years of experience
  • At least 10 years of experience of significant experience in facility planning and project management.
  • Excellence depth of knowledge in global facility planning, strategy development, and project management.
  • Interacts well with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and maintains strong working relationships and communication with internal and external collaborators.
  • Works well with other engineers, architects, and real estate professionals in a collaborative, fast-paced goal-driven environment.
  • Consistently demonstrated competency with financial systems and in fiscal control. Project accounting experience. Understanding and management of procurement and contracting processes.
