Summary
WPP Media is seeking an Associate Creative Director to join our Marketing team and help bring the WPP Media brand to life across events, client experiences, sponsorships, presentations, campaigns, and other marketing initiatives. This role will develop and execute creative concepts that elevate the brand and engage clients, partners, prospects, and employees. The Associate Creative Director will work closely with the Brand Experience lead, marketing team, project manager, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality, strategically driven creative work.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute creative concepts for events, experiences, sponsorships, presentations, campaigns, social media, and other marketing initiatives.
- Translate strategic objectives and creative briefs into compelling, innovative, and on-brand visual solutions.
- Lead projects from concept through execution, including design, production, and final delivery.
- Create high-quality graphics, layouts, presentations, event materials, digital and social content, and other branded collateral.
- Serve as a creative steward of the WPP Media brand, ensuring consistency and quality across all touchpoints while helping evolve the visual identity.
- Partner with the Brand Experience lead, marketing team, project managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to manage priorities, timelines, and deliverables.
- Present and articulate creative concepts and recommendations to internal stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Manage relationships with external agencies, freelancers, production partners, and vendors as needed.
- Stay current on design, cultural, and industry trends to bring fresh ideas and innovative approaches to the work.
- Support creative projects across multiple formats; experience with motion, video, or web design is a plus.
Qualifications & Experience
- 7–10 years of experience in graphic design, art direction, or creative development, preferably within a marketing, agency, media, or brand environment.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, visual storytelling, and design excellence across multiple formats.
- Experience with event, experiential, sponsorship, and/or brand design preferred.
- Strong presentation design skills and proficiency in PowerPoint.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Strong project management skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience with motion graphics, video editing, After Effects, Premiere Pro/Final Cut Pro, HTML, or CSS is a plus.
